Good Morning Tennessee!!
We were up bright and early and made the short drive over to Crossville, TN to head south! We got to the first field at 7:30, and what a fun stop! Deb’s first find was the baby bottle for a calf! (we could only find a goat to feed though.)
…and t hen a pair of awesome cap guns as souvenirs!
Check out this stunning scale!
And these other great industrial pieces! That scoreboard just wouldn’t fit in our trailer.
Crossville had field after field filled with great stuff!
We headed south down to Pikeville, TN and met up with some other great picker friends from Blondeberries and Vintage_Fication!
We also all drooled over Bill’s booth here filled with all sorts of architectural goodies!
I found this great old 1947 bread box too!
Deb scored some awesome little wood totes for an upcoming Miss Mustard Seed Paint Class at her shop!
There was so many fabulous things to see in Tennessee! Here’s some vintage eye candy!
And boy! Do these peeps know how to pack a truck!
We made our way down off Signal Mountain, TN and stopped finally for lunch (about 4:30 p.m.!) Another yummy local place, El Metate Mexican Restaurant with mile high chicken fajitas and amazing shrimp ceviche! We met the nicest family that were locals, that were amazed at how many people come every year to shop everyone’s “junk”!
We were happy to meet so many nice people along the way and see so many interesting and beautiful things, not to mention finding some great goodies for Cottle & Gunn and the Rustapalooza Fall at the Fairgrounds show coming up in September.
